It is a Fully Funded short-term Fellowship in Portugal, which will take Place from 20th October to 24th October 2025, spanning a total of 5 (five) days (excluding travel time to and from Portugal). Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates from the UN Member States.
  • This fellowship is for high-level government officials from developing countries who are key decision-makers in ocean policy, governance, and management.
  • Heads or deputy heads of national ocean policy agencies.
  • Ambassadors or equivalent officials with ocean policy responsibilities.
  • Currently employed by their government with a plan to remain in their role long-term.
  • Fluent in English (the program is in English only).
